I decided to spend a little more hoping to get a better board than the $20 sold at the local Orange Beach stores. Two days at the age of 11 brought me a board. Not only the outer skin withstood the water, the board broke into 2 parts. He could use it for the rest of the trip but I would have been better off just going with one of the cheaper boards.
