Review on High-Quality VViViD Clear Self-Adhesive Lamination Vinyl Roll (12"x 6ft) for Die-Cutters and Vinyl Plotters by Russ Montgomery

I was hoping to use this roll of clear sticky vinyl to make my own screen protectors but it didn't work. This vinyl is probably good enough for laminating stickers and such, but I wouldn't use it for anything that requires full transparency. After my first release liner failed miserably, I took a close look at the roll and noticed a mass of small specks of dirt on the underside of the vinyl with the adhesive. It seems to interfere with a smooth, bubble-free application. In addition to the dirt properties, the adhesive itself appears far from transparent and has a somewhat grainy appearance, further explaining why this product didn't work well as a screen protector. I'll be leaving the roll for custom stickers and decals but I'm disappointed in the lack of clarity.
