Review on FSJEE 2Pin 8MM LED Connector Kit - Includes 32.8ft Extension Cable, 8mm DC Adapter Cable, and Gapless Connectors for 3528/2835 LED Strip by Kulwinder Hendrickson

This kit was purchased to help with the cutting/splicing of LED strips. None of the connections worked as described due to poor connector manufacturing. With the 8mm strips I couldn't line up the contact points with the strips and even with manual adjustment they didn't make contact. I ended up having to solder the wires to the light strips by cutting off the plastic connectors and using wire. As for the other parts of the kit, I used DC adapters to connect the power supply wires but did not attempt to use the plastic connector plates. I simply stripped the wiring and used the built in connector for the connections. I would also suggest heavier gauge wire (I think the kit uses 26 gauge) and would like the wires to be 22 or 20 gauge for easier connection.
