update for christmas 2019: i still love these candles! Put them in my windows, turn them on with the remote after dark, set them for 8am, after that I never have to think about them again. The batteries lasted the 4 weeks they were used and I was tempted to leave them on all the time next year to see how long the batteries actually last. I used them on my windows over the holidays over Christmas 2018 and they looked lovely. I used them for a month and never had to change the batteries. I liked that I could adjust the brightness and "flicker" it. The best part was that I could turn them on with the remote and then set a timer (I did 8 hours) and then they would turn on and off at the same time every night so I never had to touch them again. Just great candles!
