Review on Adjustable Kids Helmet by KAMUGO: Ideal for Boys and Girls, Ages 2-14, for Multi-Sport Safety in Cycling, Skating, and Scooting by Andy Jolley

My 3 year old was riding a scooter down a hill pretty fast and somehow his bike caught on the boot of my 5 year old who was in front of him. As a result, he stopped immediately, flew over the handlebars and his head landed squarely on the pavement. I ran towards him and almost the entire blow was absorbed by the helmet. He had a few scratches on his nose and above his upper lip, but judging by the speed and the way he fell, it could have been a lot worse. Very happy with the performance. I will say that these helmets may not fit properly on a child's head so please be careful to wear them correctly. There are good pictures in the instructions to show correct and incorrect placement. Also, after about 4 uses, the back of the dial where it connects to the helmet becomes quite thin and comes off. The helmet still works, but every time this happens you need to make sure you align it correctly. I will say the above story happened after the part broke so I found the helmet still works properly but I am still frustrated that it broke with minimal use.
