It smells nice like herbs and makes hair easier to comb. It comes with a piece of something (herbal material) that you snap on and the idea is that it covers the hair when you use it. This is actually a great idea IMO for people with dry/tangled hair (like me). Unfortunately, almost anything that cures at room temperature is waxy or greasy, and it is. My ends were fine, they are dry although this made them stick together. However, combing was easier. With my medium length and roots it's too, too sticky/greasy. It made my hair look clumpy, dull, limp and messy. I think it's a great idea, but I'm not sure there's another technology to hold something in place at room temperature that doesn't have the same effect (because it's also held in your hair, unless , it's next to your skin). , which is annoying). I like the comb though. it's a great rascal even without a bar. By the way I value my hair too much to comb it back so I can't talk about adding volume but with the plank I don't see how they can claim it, because it has made my hair (which tends to be frizzy) flat.
