Review on ARANA 10-inch 45N/10LB Gas Struts Cabinet Toy Tool Box Lid Cover Lift Support (9.69" Extended, Suitable for 8-11 LBS Weight) by George Sullivan

I just assembled the box for the laser engraver. The 2ft x 2ft lid is made from 3/4 inch plywood and the front of the box is attached to the lid with special corner brackets. I installed hinges on the back and a handle on the front to open it. These shelves worked great. for my application: they hold the lid itself at an angle of about 80 degrees and require very little force to close the lid. Connectors to walls/lid Luckily I had another kit that came with instructions.
