    Replacement

    Bought to replace worn ones in my tool box. Pretty easy to take off the old ones and put these on. I wasn't sure about the pressure but based on what I found on the internet I calculated that those 10# should be enough and they are. Overall I'm happy with it but hope it lasts a long time.

    The manual is missing

    Good posts, good price, BUT: There are two different brackets for each post, one round and one rectangular. Which is above, which is below? I've tried both ways. They are not interchangeable. By the way, the rectangle comes up. WHY isn't that in the instructions? They say "allow an angle between 90 and 120 degrees". From where to where? You only have to guess. I spent an hour installing two spacers, which should have only taken ten minutes with the right instructions.

    If you think it's strong enough buy the next stronger one

    Great little product, great value, easy to install, perfect fit, but the weight limit is grossly overstated. Just a small aluminum toolbox lid that won't open. You have to make sure you open it fully. He keeps it where there is nothing between zero force to close. If you read the description and think it will be strong enough to go ahead and buy the next stronger one it doesn't fully work but that's what I ordered.

    Ideal for Custom Box

    I just assembled the box for the laser engraver. The 2ft x 2ft lid is made from 3/4 inch plywood and the front of the box is attached to the lid with special corner brackets. I installed hinges on the back and a handle on the front to open it. These shelves worked great. for my application: they hold the lid itself at an angle of about 80 degrees and require very little force to close the lid. Connectors to walls/lid Luckily I had another kit that came with instructions.
