This scrubber works really well. I let my algae grow on my tank for about a month.it got really gross. The scrubber works a lot better when you attach the little black edge scraper. It took off algae so fast my water became really cloudy and I had to do almost a full water change. The only thing it can't do is scrape the algae off the edges where the silicone is, which I don't expect any scrubber to be able to do. That's more of a YOU need to wipe that off yourself kinda thing. If the inside portion comes loose, the magnet really can get it to float back towards the glass. Only thing is if it floats off too far you'll just have to pick it up. The only time I had issues with this was when I switched from one panel of glass to the next one. Sometimes it would jump to the next panel just fine, but if you go too fast it can actually lounge the inside portion out to the middle of the tank, in which case you'd just have to pick it up from the water surface as mentioned before. Great find for the price I paid for. Can't wait for my algae to build up so I can use it again haha. Also, this DID NOT scratch my glass at all.
