After purchasing another cover (non-velvet) that fits so snugly that the fabric tucked into the slot didn't tuck into it, I decided to try the actual size selection as well as the next size up for that. . My sofa is 88", so I took L for 70-90" and XL for 90-114". L arrived first, so I tried it first. It has enough fabric to put in cracks, even without the foam inserts there is actually a little too much fabric in the bag but that's definitely the lesser of two evils because I'm just pushing more fabric into the crevices and there isn't any tension to keep the fabric from slipping out of the creases Bravo! don't even have to try it, so send it back.The fabric is very soft, the elastic is sewn quite securely, the wine red color is rich and beautiful.I haven't washed it yet, so I can't tell I hope so walks by. Well! My 11 year old son loves the softness. He says it's so silky. Our color neutral dark gray sofa transforms into something velvety and luxurious. I love it! too much for two adjacent sofas that took up most of ours I can take an additional, deeper one buy paint. give our eyes a break. But we love the softness and fluffiness of this velvety finish. I definitely recommend it!
