They are perfect for the wounds I treat. They seal perfectly and really don't let water through. every time! The glue is really very sticky, but exactly as it should be. It only ripped the skin once and I think it was because the skin was too irritated and soft to start with. Nexcare Bandages don't (usually) leave a sticky residue like other brands. I've tried other brands (Bandaide and private label) when I needed a larger pad size and they all stuck too much, further irritating the skin and leaving that sticky glue on the skin. Instead, now when I need a larger pad area, I take one of the Nexcare dressings and cut off the adhesive on one side, and then partially apply a second dressing to expand the pad area. The seal is just as waterproof, but the skin is no longer irritated by adhesives from other brands. Thank you NextCare. You saved a life!
