I bought this kit to install in my own gaming rig. In my specific case, the wiring was a bit tedious (NZXT S340 Elite). As mentioned the magnets in these LED strips are so weak that they are unusable which is very disappointing as this was one of the main reasons I bought them. Note that this case is made of steel, so decent magnets won't stick. I prepared the surface and tested the glue to see if it held. On the plus side, they are recognized via the Asus Aura software and controlled with ease. The stripes look nice. Pros: • Light strips look good quality • Works with 4-pin (12V) on Asus motherboards • Packaging was nice (better than regular brown box) Cons: • Magnets are so weak as to be unusable • Wiring was a little sore in my case • Adhesive seems weak I have prepared the surface by cleaning it thoroughly with alcohol but I am not sure how well it will hold. I'll update my review if they don't hold up.
