I may have received a faulty batch of a Duracell WORLD FIRST. Just an example; I use two AA Duracells in my TV remote and they typically last around 18 months. These batteries currently last an average of 6-8 WEEKS before depleting and requiring replacement. THESE BATTERIES ARE NOT MADE IN THE USA AND DO NOT REPRESENT THE DURABILITY PEOPLE EXPECT WHEN PURCHASING DURACELL BATTERIES. DO NOT BUY THESE!
