I bought these a while back, installed one in a bathroom about a month ago with no problems but today I installed a second one in a new room we’re building under the stairs for the dogs to hang out in (we’re in the middle of a massive remodel/addition, things get purchased and put on shelves for months sometimes). I wired it up, turned it on, and then the CCT switch for changing the color temperature broke off in my hand when I tried to adjust. I then poked a tiny screwdriver into the opening to slide the selector that the plastic nub broke off of and the whole switch assembly broke loose from the metal case and shorted out! I removed and replaced with another from the set and it worked fine but, I now lack confidence in the other 9 lights working properly. It would have been a serious problem if the control box had shorted after I drywalled; fortunately I was just testing everything before covering it up. On the bright side, he he, these lights are very bright and a great alternative to the multi color smart lights we have elsewhere in the house.
