Review on πŸ”’ Satin Nickel Schlage Accent Privacy Lever - F40ACC619: Privacy and Elegance Combined by Jessie Drury

I bought this to pair with my Camlot keyboard. The keyed version is actually cheaper and I can't figure out why, but I needed something without a key because the whole point of the keyboard was to keep the house from being locked. β˜† Simple, direct installation. β˜† Grips can be changed. It arrived in the left side position (I had to install it on the right side). I used the included metal key (actually a wire) and stuck it in the holes on each handle to get them out. Then I just moved them to the opposite sides. β˜† Much harder than I expected. I bought a set of keyed EZ levers for the interior, a Brinks tailgate lever and replaced the old round brass latch on the outside with this one and the Schlage seems to be a lot more reliable than either of them. β˜† 2 screws are visible. on the inner panel. My Brinks kit managed to hide them and I think it would be a good choice for Schlage as well.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Legacy model
