Review on Mr Gasket 1594 Precision Timing by Tyler Owens

I don't usually write reviews but this Mr. Gasket was so bad I thought people should know the truth and not waste their money. I sanded and then cleaned the Harmonic Balancer as instructed by Mr. Gaskets, but when I tried to apply the tape it barely stuck. The more I ran my fingers over it to press it, I noticed that the timestamps disappeared. I could have easily erased them entirely if I hadn't stopped. If the timing marks are erased with a light finger touch, how do they hold up in the engine bay! Not to mention that he won't stay tied. I gave up and bought an MSD time tape for less than half the money and the quality is amazing. MSD tooth tape is at least 3 times thicker and sticks like glue when applied. It even has a protective plastic coating. Save money and get the excellent MSD time tape. My photos show slightly the difference in quality.
