Doesn't discolor evenly
At first I was very impressed with the look of this strap. Very soft and well finished on both sides, smooth and even. The tool is good. Then I tried to paint. I deglazed it as directed and used Fiebing's Prodye and it doesn't absorb paint evenly! I don't feel good if I can't color it. :( UPDATE: After a few coats of paint and polish on this belt and adding some antique finishes it actually came out pretty good. It took a lot of unnecessary work but I am returning 1 star as everything is fine.
