My husband and brother are terrible at getting food from plate to mouth without making a mess! These wipes solved the problem. I no longer have to get a new tablecloth every time someone comes into the house. Our table is oval, so part of the napkin may hang off the table. However, they are quite soft, so they hang easily on the side, and since they are transparent, you don't even notice them. Note that if you put something heavy and hot on it (I don't put a pan straight from the stove to the table) you might have a slight dent in that area, but it won't discolour, so not an issue for me.
