The computer doesn't like it and won't charge, so end up using .

I have one of the new (Early 2018) HP Specter x360 13t-ae0xx Ultrabooks with dual Thunderbolt 3 inputs that seems to have trouble charging across many docks due to HP making a mistake with their Specter line Has. You can only charge your computer with the proprietary USBc AC/DC converter. So if you plug the USBc wall outlet converter into the dock and then plug the dock into the computer's USBc input, the computer won't like it and won't charge, so you're using both USBc inputs, one for charging and the other for the dock. Luckily, that's not a problem with this well-built, solid aluminum docking station, and it has almost all the extra inputs you need in a compact, well-built, and inexpensive device. PS: One of the Revain images says it is not compatible with HP Specter 12X12 and Pavillion X2. I can't speak to those two iterations, specifically the Specter 12X12. But I know MANY people have had issues with the Specter line not charging through docking stations, and I can tell you with certainty that it works with the 2018 proprietary 13-inch Specter, so it probably works with those larger sizes because they all have the same proprietary HP Wand. Output converters and my latest Specter 13t is no exception. It will not charge with any other charger. But it is charged through this docking station.
