Our furry baby (dog) was recently diagnosed with the dreaded diagnosis of DM and his hind legs have started dragging. As a result, his back nails have started to bleed and need to be protected. We have a set of boots for him, we tried them but he cannot wear them due to lack of coordination due to illness. So we tried these socks. They work like magic! So far they have protected his legs perfectly. The downside is that I don't think they are designed for outdoor use, so they wear out quickly. We use them as disposable items. It would be nice if they were in a more reliable version. But they're great for protecting our little guy. Finally, I have seen complaints online that these boots are too small compared to what is advertised. Although they looked tiny when we received them and I thought I ordered the wrong size, it stretches well. I think the larger size wouldn't stick as they do.
