Review on 🔧 CLC Work Gear 1579 - 20 Inch Open Top Soft Sided Tool Box with 27 Pockets by Luis Adu

When I ordered this tool box it was delivered to me without a removable baffle or shoulder strap. I contacted the company and within 24 hours the missing parts were on their way to me (assuming they take a few extra days to arrive). I'm a little annoyed that I had to do something as I wanted to use the toolbox right away, but I'm definitely grateful to CLC for the quick fix and it was a lot better and quicker than sending it back to Revain and waiting for something new . .Now the toolbox itself. I'm an advanced DIYer and do light machining as part of my job, so I was looking for a toolbox that would easily fit a set of 115 drill bits and a couple of Plano 3500 series drawers (which fit perfectly btw two large side pockets), vernier calipers, dial gauges and a random selection of other tools and gear. This tool bag is lightweight, which means it also stays handy with stuff, unlike the all-metal boxes I've also looked at. For the most part, the pockets can be used for typical tools, although I would like the two smaller end pockets to be the same as the larger end (small pockets are on the end of the tape measure clip). The material seems well stitched, the grip is comfortable (although I'll have to see how the foam holds up over time). in particular: - pockets for pens are located high; Pros: you can always get your pen/pen, Cons: a marker sticks out over the end wall - As mentioned in other reviews, the bottom is fabric so if you're carrying heavy, odd-shaped items 1/4 layer down helpful when using a movable partition. - There are no velcro straps on the two ends (like a similar Home Depot box) for attaching a long spirit level, blueprints, or welding wires - I can retrofit that myself. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I personally would not hesitate to purchase another CLC product or recommend this toolbox to a friend based on my experience.
