Functional but not very comfortable hinge
I had high hopes for this product as there are cheaper options. It's not that expensive, but cheaper wooden gates work better. I thought the plastic would be harder. It works, but not great. The locking mechanism doesn't seem solid and the offsets to accommodate the baseboard aren't appropriate for my situation. My baseboard is 3 inches and the gate fits just right. I was hoping to install it in a hallway but due to the fit I have now installed it in a doorway. I wish I had bought a cheaper wooden gate now.
