This is my first rubber cutting board and my first non-plastic cutting board. The cutting board is great, but maybe the rubber is too soft. I've been using it for about a week and the board has a few permanent cuts. I'm not sure if this is an issue, but I understand that sometimes cuts are a sign that you have a sharp knife and that the board is doing its job of prolonging the life of the sharpness. However, I didn't expect labels to appear so soon. Another thing to note is that this board gets dirty very easily, or maybe I just don't know what to use on it or what not. I know looping is an option in the future, but I have no idea when it might be necessary. It says it's antibacterial, but given the ease of the cuts, is that still true? I have no idea. Overall I only gave this 4 stars because I hope my negative comments are actually normal behavior and not a problem with the product itself.
