Background: I am using the Amplifi MESH network in my house, works fine. We bought this system for my mother's house. During the holidays we all noticed that she has almost no WiFi throughout the house and we bought her a new laptop for Christmas. I wanted to make sure she was getting a reliable connection and maximum speed for all her devices. We purchased this system after extensive research and reading reviews. We bought and received the system. The next day I went to her house. Took me about 15-20 minutes to configure, set up and test everything. Before installing, I tested the speed in different parts of the house. Your 100 Mbit/s line is centralized in the middle of the house. The back bedrooms had 10Mbps, upstairs it was the same. The basement was also full of dead zones. After installation I checked the speed of the system again and the back bedrooms were at 78Mbps, the same upstairs. The basement had 65 Mbit/s, no dead spots. I'm fairly tech savvy and this little system is impressive for the price. I would recommend this system as equal in performance but more economical than my $300 Amplifi system. Hey mom is happy so we are all happy!
