This game is quite addictive! I loaded up the 3 AAA batteries (not included) and had the kids show me how to play (how do they always know how electronics work even if they haven't seen them before?) and gave it a try. There are 5 different light pattern games for a single player and 2 different ones for 2 players. I stuck with the one-player games and really enjoyed them! Each one is just a bit different and is actually explained in the 2 pages of instructions but the kids figured them out without the instructions. The on/off/mute the LOUD sounds switch is on the back. The sounds are really loud but, somehow, playing with the sounds turned off just wasn't as much fun.It is relatively light (7.2 ounces with the 2 AAA batteries loaded) and compact (7 1/4" by 5") so would be handy to bring on longer car trips. Think I'm going to keep this one tucked away for awhile so I can play it without having to wrestle it away from the little ones.
