Works as advertised. The tester is almost too easy - hence the first reminder to read the instructions. Checking the cable is easy, plug the cable into the device and press the big red button. Things get a little more subtle when you get the wrong cable. The tester will point out the problem, but it is counterintuitive to determine which pair is misconnected.
