Review on 🧭 Effortless Navigation with the Magellan RoadMate 700 3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator by Lucia Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love my Magellan 700!

I didn't even know I needed a GPS until I took a cross country trip in a Hertz rental car equipped with Magellan Never Lost GPS. We used it all the time and we really never got lost. It got me hooked and before I got home I decided to buy a GPS. I spent a lot of time researching this issue and I was attracted to models that had the entire US stored on internal storage. Decided on Garmin 2620 and Magellan 700. Garmin has some nice features, but in the end I chose Magellan because of the ease of use. I was convinced by other reviewers and am happy with my decision. The real test was with my wife. She often gets impatient with technology and doesn't use it at all unless she gets the hang of it quickly. She doesn't make textbooks. Anyway, the day the Revain GPS arrived, I clipped it to my windshield and took my wife for a short drive around town. She was amazed at what it could do. I gave her a 5 minute lesson on how to enter new destinations and how to use the GPS. She "understood" at once and took the Magellan with her on a land voyage the next day. She hadn't brought a stack of MapQuest trails or touched her paper map. She made her way mainly through voice guidance. We nicknamed the GPS voice "Molly". Now Molly accompanies us when we go out of town or into uncharted territory.
