Review on ๐Ÿšฟ Jensen JWM-160: Water-Resistant Bluetooth Shower Clock Radio - Blue by Dominique Patel

Great sound for the price though.

I bought this device to replace my analog shower radio and overall I am very happy with my purchase. The radio is of good build quality and works well, with good reception and great sound (for the price). I just have a few suggestions/nitpicks. First you need to use a screwdriver to change the batteries. Truth? It seems that the screw heads will eventually come loose if you are not very careful. Why didn't the manufacturer use thumbscrews or some other mechanism? If a manufacturer reads this and decides to offer something like this, please send it to me! Second, if you use it in the shower, it needs to be hung up. There is a ring you can use to hang the radio, but it's not practical to attach it to the neck of the shower head. The radio wants to crawl down your neck. Even if this is not the case, the display is obscured by the shower head. You will almost certainly need a hook to hang it properly. I bought an "over the door" hook and hung it on the shower stall. It works out. It would be great if the radio manufacturer either included an adhesive hook (or adjustable shower hook) or at least offered one as an accessory. I'm still looking at some of the other radio features (Bluetooth, alarm clock) that I can or cannot use. I can comment on these features later.
