🚿 Jensen JWM-160: Water-Resistant Bluetooth Shower Clock Radio - Blue Review

This is a cute little radio for listening to the news in the bathroom. I'm still working on the batteries I put in a few months ago (alkaline). We don't have enough outlets for everything we want to plug in, so this is a great alternative. There was a hum at first but it went away and worked fine. We don't have it in our hearts.

I use it every day in the shower and it suits my needs well. It receives my local NPR radio station as I need it and also receives webcasts from NPR stations via Bluetooth from my iPhone. I'm not an iPhone or Bluetooth expert, but I've had no problem receiving Bluetooth broadcasts from my iPhone. Works perfectly!

I really liked this radio and was very happy until the first time I had to change the batteries. After installing new batteries, the radio would not turn on at all. I checked the batteries and followed the instructions. Nothing. Finally I pressed the reset button and the display lit up and all the numbers on the clock started racing and became unstoppable. 3 months showering about an hour a day with original batteries (consumes 4AA). Looks strong enough. The sound quality does not affect hearing the voice. No tuner drift issues, but tuning in to multiple presets and listening to multiple stations is harder than it should be - this radio is best for listening to daily news on the same channel. train station every day. The main problem is that once it gets a little wet the sound gets weaker so much that it's very hard to hear! I bought this device to replace my analog shower radio and overall I am very happy with my purchase. The radio is of good build quality and works well, with good reception and great sound (for the price). I just have a few suggestions/nitpicks. First you need to use a screwdriver to change the batteries. Truth? It seems that the screw heads will eventually come loose if you are not very careful.
