We recently adopted a dog with REALLY severe separation anxiety. The typical thin metal box we had didn't hold up, so we shelled out the money for this box and it was well worth it. It has enough room to stand and lie down comfortably, but not enough room to try to jump and knock it over like the cheaper boxes. I also really like that the pan is lowered under the grate because when she pees she doesn't sit in it and she's blocked by the grate where she can't chew and vomit. Definitely worth the money in my opinion and she was a game changer when she left it knowing she couldn't hurt herself because this box is strong and durable!
