We recently adopted a dog with REALLY severe separation anxiety. The typical thin metal box we had didn't hold up, so we shelled out the money for this box and it was well worth it. It has enough room to stand and lie down comfortably, but not enough room to try to jump and knock it over like the cheaper boxes. This box is a good solid box for the most part. It's heavy and unwieldy so two people need to assemble it, but the second person could be a 5-year-old with decent attention span. All you need is another pair of hands to hold the panels in place until you can secure them. If your dog is small or not very scared, this is a great crate.
