Review on SPT SH-1507 Mini-Tower Ceramic Heater by Sunpentown: Compact & Efficient Heating Solution by Steve Fields

I was happy with this little heater ok I didn't use it much to be honest maybe once a week. I've only used it to heat a small room on cold days, so maybe 60 minutes a week. It has worked well to date. I plan to contact Mfgr, I will update my findings here. As I said, I'll update the results, so here they are. I contacted this manufacturer and the response I received was polite and courteous. It's a one year limited warranty and my heater was only 5 months old. The typical solution for most manufacturers is to ship the product back at your expense, box it up and ship it to your carrier and insure it properly. With this manufacturer it is the same procedure. After getting it back I was told that if it fails again they will pay for shipping. Luckily not all manufacturers are open that day as they want to keep their business going, especially if the problem was on their side. I have had products that have failed and they sent me a replacement straight away with postage paid in the box. This is what I was hoping for as an easy fix to a bad product and also to keep my business going. They also make other products. I liked this heater, it was small, quiet and worked the best, but it only worked for 5 months and used it an hour a week. In the end, that was the only option left. and i will not buy from this company again, i will just keep looking. I have yet to replace this heater.HTH
