Advantages: 1. Ease of installation. Simply remove the case, pull out the tray under the radio/fan control box and plug it in.2. Inexpensive compared to buying a head unit or replacing the entire center console. Cons: 1. Minor installation difficulties - I had to drill a hole in the compartment under the radio for the wires to go somewhere. Not the end of the world, and easy enough to do with a drill.2. Sound. From time to time I hear a low hum when I plug in the aux cable. I don't know if it's my phone, adapter or my car, but it's not enough to return the item. Also, I was hoping to be able to auto-skip songs on Spotify when connected. via USB to my phone but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe it's my own fault, I didn't think it was worth spending too much time on.
