Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Efficient Park Tool CCP-22 Crank Puller: Extract Cranks with Ease by Brandon Havlicek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Personally I cannot recommend this product enough

My bottom bracket was binding after one of the sealed cup retainers failed and wrapped around the axle. I've always been afraid of doing bottom bracket work on my bike, but since my cheap Walmart bike was bought specifically so I could familiarize myself with bike repair (which is definitely what should happen with a Walmart bike), I bought it after I This aroused my fears and set to work. I was sure the threads would snap and it was going to be a real challenge, but the job was MUCH easier than I ever imagined and I was able to successfully remove the cranks and rip the bottom off with the CCP 22. Bracket, repackage/lube and reassemble everything (loose bearings replaced). Park Tool CCP 22 appears to be as durable and quality as any other Park Tool product. However, I think that with hard, overly stubborn cranks/bottom brackets, even the highest quality BB tool can fail, which seems to be the category some of the negative reviews posted here fall into. In that case, you'll have to be creative to take this thing apart. I personally cannot recommend this product enough.
