Tired of buying replacement tower fans when they fail? These guys too. While its original purpose is to allow you to filter the air in your room so your Lasko tower fan delivers higher quality air, it also has the added benefit of protecting your fan from potential dust clogging your cooling tower could. The problem with these tower fans is that they are not easy to maintain after years of use in dusty environments. You want to be able to dig into the inside of things to clean them, but they just aren't designed to be easily taken apart and cleaned. That's where this filter comes in - you slide it into the back of the tower fan and its mesh material has more than enough open area to ensure proper airflow while keeping dust and debris out. This dust and dirt will cause your fan to fail after a few years. Using one of these will slightly increase the life of your fan, especially if like me you use one of these in a dustier environment. Highly recommended. This also works with the Lasko T42950 and variants (aka Wind Curve) sold here at Revain. The fit is a bit tighter (very fine details are missed), but it's more than enough to protect your fan.
