Simple, effective, cheap, reusable. It also protects the inside of the fan and certainly prolongs its lifespan if dust is a common killer of your fans (same goes for ours).

Filter fits perfectly! very easy to install and even easier to clean - it can be washed or vacuumed then reused as if it were brand new. I've tried both but washing seems to wash away more dirt. Vacuum it occasionally and you probably won't need to wash it. Great purchase - I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to extend the life of their fan while preventing dust from circulating around the room.

I first bought this to keep dust off my fan and it does a great job. To be honest I never realized how much can build up in a fan until I cleaned another one of my fans. Every few weeks, I just take the screen off, rinse it, let it dry, and then reattach it with velcro. Fan. I did not receive the one in the photo. I got one wide enough to wrap around the fan about 3/4 of its length. With an adhesive strip that I have to attach. It literally costs no more than $5 or $6, and yet they drenched me with about $25. Sorry, it's been 30 days and Revain won't do anything about it.
