Solid MTB trail pedal

I am transitioning further into mountain biking, from a triathlon road riding background. I have used clipless petals because I was riding more cross country style. I recently bought a trail bike and have been taking more risks and wanted to feel more comfortable being able to put my foot down quicker.These petals are lightweight and have a very nice grip. Wearing a stiff sold mountain bike specific shoe certainly helps. I have had no issue with it being high in the middle. I will definitely be buying another pair for my cross-country bike as I am working on wheelies.

Bought first set for 9-year-old son. He loved them and I bought a set for my bike.

Cons

The non-slip material may cause damage to certain types of bike shoes
