Very strong magnet!
I'm sure this magnet is stronger than my old construction doors. My house is 70 years old and the floor is uneven which causes the doors to close by themselves. Bathroom doors were driving me crazy until I saw these doorstops in an online ad. I just ordered a set! The magnet stuck to the baseboard and door very easily, and the magnet itself is so strong that I was afraid the door wouldn't withstand multiple pulls! So I put a piece of tape (OK, Band-Aid) on the magnet, which reduced the magnet's power so it still holds the door open but doesn't damage it. Works very well, even through tape.
