These serving pieces are not only beautiful, but the best I own. I first bought a set for myself then turned around & bought 2 more sets ( 1 for myself & 1 as a gift for my daughter-in-law )! I did washed them well before 1st use & applied a very small amount of mineral oil to them. the shine on them was outrageous. Would highly recommend these. especially if you worry about your serving dishes getting chipped or broken by metal serving spoons & forks ( which I was cause my husband likes to bang them against serving dishes. bahahaha! ).
