Poor quality product; Full effect after 4 months. We used to charge it with the included charging cable, but the connector fell through the inside of the radio. This let us charge from the solar panel or the crank. However, after 2 hours in direct sunlight all the stations on the dial would not turn on and we only had static. While it might sound like we've left radio reception behind, we were still in the same place we've always used it: home. The stations returned about 30-45 minutes later, eclipsing the radio. However, as soon as I switched the radio back to direct light (about 30 minutes after reception was restored) it went completely dead and didn't work for over 2 weeks.
