improvement in function

Funny, I didn't think I needed to review a simple spring latch, but compared to the ones they replaced, itwas a quantum leap in quality of function. They fit into the same cutout, but the ball can easily be raised orloward, and yes, the ball pressure can be adjusted too, from the bottom screw. I wanted the doors toeasily open and close, so no extra pressure was needed, but it you want to make the ball latch more secure,and more difficult for a child to open, simply screw the adjustment screw in a turn or two, and done!All sturdy parts that will last for years, I'm sure.

Very easy to install. Solved my door problem

Cons

Can only be used for closet doors, not exterior doors
