Update: I've had this drive for a little less than two months. Buying a disc is a bit like playing the lottery. You never know what you're going to get. This is especially true when buying a white label. In my case, I received an HP Enterprise (HPE) MB2000EBZQC drive. The hard drive still works, but already shows some bad sectors. Right now I have about 1200 hours on this thing. Compare that to my Seagate hard drive, which I've been using in the same NAS for over 7 years, with over 64,000 hours of use. I don't have bad sectors. I won the lottery with it. I was hoping to breathe more life into this white label than it sounds, but that's all part of the lottery game. I still think it's worth it at this price point, especially given the 1 year warranty. I intend to keep a close eye on this ride and encourage you to do the same regardless of brand or even if you're buying a brand new one from retail. First review: So far, so good. I bought this a few weeks ago to replace a failed drive in my very old 2-bay NAS. Because it's so old, I really didn't want to spend a lot of money to keep it running. I installed a new drive and it was fully synced in about 14 hours. The NAS shows that it is working properly with no bad sectors. Some reviews state that this disc is very loud. Fortunately this is not the case. It's no louder than the one he replaced. Edit: I accidentally received an HPE MB2000EBZQC which is different from the models some others have received.
