Review on ANCEL BD310: Ultimate 2-in-1 Diagnostic OBD2 Scanner and Trip Computer for Real-time Car Health Monitoring and Performance Analysis by Jerry Mangum

I purchased this device in January 2019 and have used it many times manually without worrying about accessing the Bluetooth wireless network which should greatly expand the functions available. Apparently I had to use this feature recently and it doesn't work at all. It doesn't connect to my phone via bluetooth at all. I went to the website and downloaded the update rar file for the latest drivers. After painstaking decompression of the file provided for the device and then the reading device was not recognized by my computer after several attempts, it finally accepted the update. However, Bluetooth is still recognized. The manual connection side of the device works great for what it is. However, if I could I would return this unit as it does not work with Bluetooth and higher functionality as advertised. Luckily I bought BlueDriver and it works great and does pretty much everything. As I said I would return it if I could as it is either a defective unit or mis-advertised. Shame on me for not testing and believing the product would work. Lesson learned.
