My plug was bad

Looks good straight away. After installing and connecting the wires as in the diagram, nothing worked. After about 2 hours of troubleshooting I got the test lamp and found that the connector is defective as there is no current going into the box. He stopped in my truck's traffic jam. I went to the vehicle and bought a new one. Cut off the factory plug as it is included. Changed it myself and now it works. Box gasket and mounting hardware are not included.
