Buy Premium Vertical GPU Cable Only!
Installed in a new build and GPU keeps crashing/going to black screen on GPU vertical build. The computer manufacturer checked by unplugging the cable and installing the GPU directly into the PCIe slot and everything worked as it should. I was asked to purchase and install a premium riser cable and this issue is resolved. The funny thing is that the top two "premium" cables are made by Lian Li and Thermaltake, so I'm giving Thermaltake a chance to try their premium cable. UPDATE: Installed new premium cable and fixed issue.
