Excellent replacement for the stock heater resistor. If your fan speed control only works with one or two settings, chances are that part has failed. Remove the fan motor (very easy) and then you will see the resistor fully attached to the firewall. For the screws you will need Torx screwdrivers: if the memory serves, one screw in the front (near you) is completely unscrewed, and the rear screws only need to be partially unscrewed, since the mounting tabs on the resistor itself are slotted . You really have to play around and wiggle your tools to get the rear screws. Just be persistent and don't lose your calm. It can be done!
