We enjoy the playpen

I did a little research before buying because I wanted to make sure my boys had a good way to get outside and I didn't have to worry about a thing. In short, I believe it gives you the best of modestly sized "easy to build" cat designs. I can't believe the cost of some of the things I saw! I chose this tent over the low one because like many cats my boys love to be high. So I donated space. I live in Brooklyn and my yard is mostly fenced. I used to let them run around, but as soon as Bo came into the neighbors' yard, that was all. There are too many stray cats and I can't let them roam the neighborhood. This playpen is perfect for short walks outdoors for two adult cats. One of them weighs 17 pounds and the other around 12 pounds. They can both stand on shelves in the arena, and the arena stands firmly on the floor with no risk of them tipping over (see photos of Jasper and Bo). It's a good start for my boys, but I have plans to build my own foldable that's a lot bigger so I can hang out and work with them (I don't like the price or the design of most of my stuff). larger structures seen online). My boys don't like the idea of being in a room this size where I have to pet them through a metal gate, but it beats their frustration that I won't let them out. I would say this would be a good choice for people with kittens or cats who need somewhere to hang because they have potty issues or want to be outside but can't move around freely, or otherwise need an isolated spot relax. be inside. The fact that it's on casters makes it quite mobile. I will say that although it is foldable it is a bit heavier than I expected. That's understandable given the task it's designed for, but in some ways a lighter tent would be handy for storage. I've left it outside with a plastic coating for now, but it's still succumbed to weathering and some rusting. This could have been avoided by folding it up and bringing it in, but given the weight I know I wouldn't pull my boys out that much if I had to pull it out every time. I don't know why people said it was hard. Assemble and install rollers. I found it very easy. It doesn't take 5 minutes, but it doesn't take all day either. I did it myself which was easy enough, another person would be helpful but not required (depending on physical ability). Once up, he's fine. I reused the zip ties included in the package (yes the zip ties can be reused if you open them carefully) to secure the shelves as my boys are a bit heavy and I wasn't entirely familiar with the design of the shelf hooks. attached to the cell. I also check and make sure all other parts are secure before I cage my youngsters each time. I move it with them and it doesn't threaten to collapse (which was an issue in some other reviews). The four doors on one side are very convenient to get in and out of and occasionally offer a more comprehensive pat. Okay, I know this is a bit long, but I hope this is helpful!
