If you have a BMW and you are working on your car, this is a must. To remove the spark plugs you need a thin-walled 12-point head - conventional sockets do not fit into the bore in the cylinder block. I like that the base is hinged to the 12" extension - there is no risk of the base coming loose and getting stuck in the hole. It is also very practical that the socket has a magnet that ensures that the socket holds on to the plug when it is pulled out. Great quality and for $16 you don't have to spend more. While not made in the US, they are made in Taiwan which is known for making quality tools at a reasonable price. I try to avoid Chinese made products due to constant quality issues.
