We bought this collar for our greyhound and we love it! Due to the size and shape of the greyhound's head, a fairly wide martingale collar with a very large D-ring must be used. Not only was the D-ring large enough to snag on things and pose a choking hazard, but the size of the collar itself washes out some of the small hairs our guy had around his neck. The adoption agency recommended using a dog tag collar and removing the martingale at home, so I started looking for one and came across this one! and over. It's easy enough to adjust to the right size, but not slippery enough to resize on your own. We can leave it with a martingale or even a pendant if we want, given its lightness. It also doesn't affect any of these options. The sliders are covered with rubber, which allows the entire collar to be easily placed around the dog's neck.
