It seems unfair to downgrade these at all for being exactly what they purport to be. They are attractive, well made, useful. The problem is that they don't stack especially well. They sort of stack and seem more or less secure stacked three high, but something slightly better designed with only the slightest angle to the side and/or better designed rim would permit secure stacking of all six in a single stack. Small things that don't stack well are difficult to store, take up more shelf space than they otherwise might and waste vertical space. I often think about stacking when I choose things that I'm not sure whey I didn't this time. I'll keep them, I'll use them, I'll enjoy them, and then some day I'll take them to the thrift store and look for something that stacks better.
